Village Committees
If you have an interest in getting involved in one of the committees and volunteering, we would appreciate your support.
Planning Commission
Make and adopt plans for the physical development of the village, including a comprehensive development plan. Topics may relate to the comprehensive development plan, capitol improvements, building codes, subdivision developments, the annexation of territory, or zoning.
Usually meets the 3rd Wednesday of the month.
Board of Adjustments (Variance)
To hear and decide appeals to change any zoning regulation, request for interpretation of any map, changes to specific piece of property.
Meets as needed, or if a resident applies for a Variance.
Hallam Community Connection
Meets the last Tuesday of the month. @ 7:00 PM Hallam Auditorium meeting room
Cemetery Committee
For the development, expansion, and improvement of our cemetery.
Meets quarterly, or as needed.
Park Committee
Meets the last Tuesday of the month. @ 7:00 PM Hallam Auditorium meeting room
Health Board
Regulate and prevent the occurrence of nuisances, and enforce all laws of the State of Nebraska and ordinances of the Municipality, relating to matters of sanitation which affect the health and safety of the people.
